Dental Implants
A dental implant is a medical-grade titanium root placed into the jawbone to carry a custom ceramic crown. It is the only treatment that replaces the missing root as well as the tooth, so the bone keeps its shape and the neighbouring healthy teeth are never trimmed down for a bridge.

- Treatment time
- 2 – 4 visits over 3 months
- Cost
- Quoted per implant after X-ray — fixture, abutment and crown priced separately.
- Comfort
- Profound local anaesthesia, sterilised single-use kits and breaks whenever you need them.
Step by step
How the treatment works
- 1
Digital assessment
X-ray or CBCT to measure bone height, width and nerve position, then a written plan and quote.
- 2
Implant placement
Placed under local anaesthesia in about 45 minutes. Most patients return to work the same day.
- 3
Osseointegration
The bone fuses to the implant surface over 8–12 weeks. A temporary tooth can be worn meanwhile.
- 4
Crown fitting
An impression or scan is taken and a ceramic crown is shade-matched and torqued into place.

Common questions
Dental Implants — your questions answered
Is implant placement painful?
The site is fully numbed, so the placement itself is painless. Mild soreness for two to three days is normal and settles with routine painkillers.
What if I don't have enough bone?
A bone graft or sinus lift can rebuild the site. We tell you at the X-ray stage whether this is needed and what it adds to the plan.
How long will I be without a tooth?
A temporary tooth can be given the same day in most front-tooth cases, so you are never seen with a visible gap.
